Today, with Marca China in Shenzhen, Beauty Premiere in Orlando, and Cosmoprof Las Vegas, the BolognaFiere Group has been dubbed leader in the field of internationalization by management consultancy Roland Berger.

BolognaFiere Managing Director Antonio Bruzzone has been confirmed Vice President of the Europe Chapter of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, whose annual conference will be held in Maastricht from 13 - 16 June.
Vice President of AEFI - the Association of Italian Exhibitions and Fairs - since 2015 when he became General Manager of the BolognaFiere Group, Bruzzone has headed the Company’s internationalization drive, doubling turnover to nearly 210 million in 2022.
June and July alone see 3 BolognaFiere-branded exhibitions around the world: Premiere Orlando - the ultimate beauty experience - just concluded; Marca China (now ongoing in Shenzhen), the international private label tradeshow whose surface area in this post-Covid period exceeds some 6,000 square metres; and Cosmoprof North America - Las Vegas, the largest B2B beauty event in the USA, scheduled from 11 – 13 July.
On 7 June, Global Exhibitions Day, research and consulting firm Roland Berger confirmed that BolognaFiere, with 19% of its revenues generated abroad since 2019, is the Italian Group to lead the field in the internationalisation of its business, followed by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group - with Rimini (10%), Verona (6%) and Milan (1%).
Antonio Bruzzone confirms the Company’s strategy: "Internationalization and diversification are the hallmarks of BolognaFiere Group's business. With Informa Group now a shareholder, we intend to strengthen our cross-selling capacity and joint international promotion of B2B trade shows. We also want to capitalize on our consolidated international experience with Cosmoprof, and go in the same direction in the agro-food, private label, publishing, and pet industry".
Born in Genoa in 1967, Antonio Bruzzone graduated in Political Science. He started working in Genoa as Commercial Area Manager at Genoa Airport, later becoming Sales Manager at Festival Crociere. His first job in the trade-fair sector was at Fiera di Genova where he was Sales Manager from 2001 to 2004. In 2005, he became Sales Manager at BolognaFiere and, from 2006 to 2013, held the same position at Fiera di Roma. From 2013 to 2015, Bruzzone returned to Fiera di Genova as Managing Director and Director of Organisation and the Market. He has been General Manager of BolognaFiere since 2015. Antonio Bruzzone is married with two daughters.
