GENDER EQUALITY

BolognaFiere Group’s gender-equality management system has obtained UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification. The Company was rated on the results of the main key performance indicators (KPIs) established to meet the objectives of its equality policy and gender-equality parameters covering all Group employees.

Assigned to four companies belonging to the Group (BolognaFiere and Wydex in Bologna, Cosmoprof in Milan, and Henoto in Padua), these certifications testify to the Company’s commitment to promoting and spreading a culture in which the gender gap has no place and where the D&I model is an integral part of its DNA. The BolognaFiere Group is driving sustainable and lasting change sustained by management and HR processes fostering inclusion. These include equality and neutrality during the recruitment phases, and policies ensuring equal access - independent of gender - to training and professional development and leadership programs.

Encouraging female employment and career development opportunities are two key areas for the Company. This focus is acknowledged by the certification achieved, as are the Company’s longstanding family-friendly and employee work/life balance policies, including job-security and support mechanisms during the maternity period.

“Certification of our gender-equality management system marks a fundamental step towards building a more inclusive and equal opportunities-friendly work environment. We are proud of this result since it confirms our resolve to be a benchmark in the exhibition organisation sector not only for our business performance but also for our attention to the values of inclusion and diversity.”

Rosa Grimaldi - Deputy Chairman of the Board, BolognaFiere Group

“The certification we have obtained is not a point of arrival, rather an encouragement to further improve our corporate policies with the aim of making BolognaFiere Group a concrete example of innovation and responsibility.”

Alessandra de la Ville sur Illon - HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs Director BolognaFiere Group
