BolognaFiere Managing Director Antonio Bruzzone has been confirmed Vice President of the Europe Chapter of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, whose annual conference will be held in Maastricht from 13 - 16 June.
Vice President of AEFI - the Association of Italian Exhibitions and Fairs - since 2015 when he became General Manager of the BolognaFiere Group, Bruzzone has headed the Company’s internationalization drive, doubling turnover to nearly 210 million in 2022.
June and July alone see 3 BolognaFiere-branded exhibitions around the world: Premiere Orlando - the ultimate beauty experience - just concluded; Marca China (now ongoing in Shenzhen), the international private label tradeshow whose surface area in this post-Covid period exceeds some 6,000 square metres; and Cosmoprof North America - Las Vegas, the largest B2B beauty event in the USA, scheduled from 11 – 13 July.

Antonio Bruzzone confirms the Company’s strategy: "Internationalization and diversification are the hallmarks of BolognaFiere Group's business. With Informa Group now a shareholder, we intend to strengthen our cross-selling capacity and joint international promotion of B2B trade shows. We also want to capitalize on our consolidated international experience with Cosmoprof, and go in the same direction in the agro-food, private label, publishing, and pet industry".
