“KNOW-HOW WITH A FOCUS ON QUALITY AND SUSTAINABILITY”
The business strategies are reaping their rewards in the 2022 balance sheet: Production Value at 67 million euros (out of a total 210 million for the BolognaFiere Group) is more than double the figure for 2021.
Quality and Sustainability are key factors for HENOTO, the BolognaFiere Group company that focuses on the business of Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, Retail, Contracts, Showrooms and Outdoor events and structures, supporting Italian businesses in global strategies and commercial development on international markets.
HENOTO’s international commitment is substantial and has been supported by significant acquisitions (Tecnolegno allestimenti in 2022 and Fontemaggi in 2023).
HENOTO encapsulates the Industry 4.0 business model, emphasising specialization in business differentiation. The organization has approximately 300 staff in Italy and abroad in offices in the USA, Europe, Mexico, the Middle East and Asia for a total of sixteen international offices attending to their clients’ business and boosting their performance in loco.
“The results of the 2022 balance sheet offer the best confirmation of the company’s solidity and potential for growth,” announced Daniele Passini, president of HENOTO. “The trade fair business today represents around 20 to 30 per cent of our turnover and the market offers substantial opportunities for growth in Italy and abroad. We aim to further consolidate our presence in China and in the United States, where we have been operating for some time, as well as focussing on developing business in two contexts of particular interest – Riyadh and Mexico, where we have already begun work. At the same time we are constantly analysing new countries in which to create opportunities to intervene to support business and export ‘made in Italy’ solutions that are our hallmark in terms of quality, innovation and design.”
HENOTO was set up in 2021 from the merger between BFservizi and GiPlanet, a company with thirty years of experience in the trade fair sector. The combination of the respective fields of expertise has given life to an organization that develops projects from start to finish, from the original concept all the way through to eventual production, while constantly prioritising sustainability.
Every project is developed with the aim of reducing its environmental impact as much as possible. This goal, which stems from trade fair expertise, an awareness of the impact of production, assembly, dismantling and storage of stand structures, is applied to all areas of the company’s activities.
HENOTO’s rapid growth has been consolidated also through significant acquisitions, such as Milan-based Tecnolegno (54%) and Fontemaggi from Rimini (54%), that have expanded the know-how regarding external, highly specialized lines and further consolidated the company’s leadership and capabilities to offer the market solutions of a high standard in terms of quality and design.
The principles of Industry 4.0 adopted by HENOTO boost efficiency across the length of the value chain as well as its responsiveness to clients, enabling the company to manage flexible projects in a fully automated way and with constant control over every phase of production.
In parallel, the continuous research into new materials and the adoption of innovative technologies at the heart of the HENOTO team’s work has resulted in a series of brand new technological patents concerning, in particular, freedom of personalization and a focus on sustainability, as has been acknowledged by the CO2 neutral certification awarded for some products.
The company’s portfolio lists a long series of interventions: from the creation of important brands in the context of large trade events in Italy and abroad (Milan Furniture Fair, the international Cosmoprof network) to the restyling of hotels and yachts, from structural interventions for major sporting events (including the Bologna group stage of the Davis Cup, padel courts and structural activities for the 6 Nations Rugby Championship) to the company’s involvement in the creation of important stores in the luxury sector (in Italy and abroad) and the staging of major exhibitions.
Design, innovation, sustainability and meticulousness in the choice of materials and production are all hallmarks of HENOTO’s work. The company’s presence in international markets is experiencing constant growth, proving that Henoto is one of the key players in developing new business in the world’s most commercially attractive markets.
