Speaking via live link with the Quirinale Palace, Sergio Mattarella, President of Italy, Monday 8 April 10.30 am.
Monday 8 April will see the opening of the 61st edition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the professional trade fair and meeting point for the global community of the children’s book sector, together with its sister events BolognaBookPlus – an extension devoted to generalist publishing and held in collaboration with the Association of Italian Publishers (AIE) – and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids, the event specifically for brands and licensing of content for children and young people.
During the opening ceremony, taking place on Monday 8 April at 10.30 am at the Illustrators Café at the Service Centre at the Bologna Exhibition Centre (Costituzione entrance), the Children’s Book Fair will be relaying a speech by the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella via live link from the Quirinale Palace.
