Created in 2024, BolognaFiere Group’s Business Unit provides the Bologna trade-show venue and district with a range of services.

Its team of technical experts provides technical consultancy mainly within the framework of the ongoing extension of the trade-fair grounds and the building of new exhibition halls. The B.U. is also in charge of coordinating the technical-services requirements of individual trade shows and events and the Bologna venue’s overall facility management.

Since 2023, BolognaFiere Group’s  B.U. - in partnership with the city of Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna Region - has been involved in the design and development of the TEK District  (Technology, Entertainment and Knowledge) project. Covering some 210 hectares of potential regeneration, this is Bologna’s largest sustainable urban revitalization project since the early post-war period.
