As a first act, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to re-elect Gianpiero Calzolari as President and to elect Rosa Grimaldi as Vice President.
The objectives of the new mandate include internationalisation, the diversification of the Group’s activities and the enhancement of the spaces of the Bologna Exhibition Centre, also as a result of real estate contributions by shareholders.
"I thank the Board of Directors for the renewed trust," says Gianpiero Calzolari and continues, "After the capital increase and the subscription of the bond with Informa Group, the path towards the growth and internationalisation of the BolognaFiere Group is proceeding at a fast pace. The objective of the new Board of Directors will be the listing of the company. An important challenge for the development of our territory, to which all shareholders, public and private, are called upon to contribute”.
