The 9th Global Exhibitions Day was held on Wednesday 5 June 2024, promoted by UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
It is open to everyone interested in increasing the visibility of the exhibitions industry regionally and on a global scale.
The theme of this edition was: “Exhibitions are catalysts to sustainable futures“, based on 4 key pillars:
- Exhibitions connect people: they are community builders, bringing people together face-to-face to connect, collaborate and contribute.
- Exhibitions facilitate economic growth: they are engines of economic growth, connecting industries and driving job creation.
- Exhibitions are a sustainable way to do business: they are a sustainable way to drive business and development, gathering communities in one place.
- Exhibitions drive progress: they are platforms to discuss, create and showcase solutions to our universal challenges.
Echoing the GED themes proposed by UFI, BolognaFiere Group joined the celebrations with four brief contributions by CEO Antonio Bruzzone posted on BolognaFiere Group’s digital touchpoints.
BolognaFiere Group took also part of the event “Trade Fairs: how they impact Made-in-Italy businesses and their international reach”, held on 5 June in Rome to mark #GED2024, and promoted by AEFI in partnership with the Ministry of Enterprises and Made-in-Italy.
