Technical data and characteristics:

Total surface area 49,000 sqm no. 3 independent Halls, each equipped with a restroom block and bar:
Hall “A” 7,650 sqm.
Hall “B” 5,650 sqm.
Hall “C” 3,500 sqm.

The Halls are connected to each other by a functional service gallery covered by a glass spire, overlooked by the district's logistical services and linked to the entrance-ticketing complex. Access to the outdoor area is provided through no. 3 driveways for the access of service vehicles and goods to be exhibited.

When the surface area outside the halls is not used for exhibition purposes, it can serve as a parking lot for cars with a specific exhibitor and guest permit.

Specific rooms in the Central Gallery are intended to house the event secretariat, the press office, the general management of the district, the technical office, a fire brigade detachment, and the companies that permanently perform maintenance and assistance services for the district.

In addition to the parking spaces available in the surrounding outdoor areas, the exhibition center is equipped with a parking lot (for a fee) capable of accommodating up to 900 cars.

 

Systems and their characteristics

In the halls, it is possible to activate internet connectivity, provided in both wired and wireless technology.

Water and electricity utilities are distributed through modular floor ducting based on a grid of junction boxes. The outdoor area is also equipped with a distribution network for the various utilities.

The exhibition Halls are protected by an anti-intrusion system, a smoke detection system, and a fire-fighting water network. Climate control, which can be activated on request, is ensured using the most modern technological solutions to guarantee maximum comfort for operators and visitors.

 

Flexibility

ModenaFiere, the largest congress center in the entire Modena area, offers endless possibilities for using its spaces: corporate meetings, exhibition-conferences, open houses, conventions, corporate dinners, competitions, etc.

EXHIBITION AREA

Gallery

The backbone of ModenaFiere is the gallery, an impressive architectural structure that serves as a connection between the halls.

On the ground floor of the gallery, there are multi-service spaces, an information point, ATM service, an infirmary, restrooms, and a nursery room.

On the first floor, you will find the event command center, where the management, secretariat, security, and assistance offices are concentrated.

In addition to these spaces, there are meeting rooms, service provider offices, and terraced areas.

Indoor Areas

The three halls, each of different sizes to meet the most varied needs, cover an exhibition area of approximately 18,000 sqm. Two of them, the larger ones (A and B), are parallel and connected by the central gallery; the third, smaller one (C), is perpendicular to it and located near the East entrance.
Between Hall “A” and Hall “C” there is a seamless connection through a large link hall, capable of serving as a spacious lobby or an exhibition area.
Each hall has vehicle access points and entrance doors to allow the movement of goods and people. The floor incorporates a grid of tunnels housing all services for the stands: electricity, power, telephone lines, and water system. A separate electrical distribution network is instead activated for setup work, with outlets fixed to the central columns or walls.

The halls benefit (upon request) from an effective ceiling-mounted climate control system capable of ensuring a comfortable working environment in every season. Natural light enters through windows in the roof, while neon fixtures provide general artificial lighting. The supporting pillars, measuring 80 x 70 cm, are positioned 20m apart. Each hall is equipped with a bar and a restroom block.

The Canopies

Each hall is equipped on the outside, along its entire length, with a 5m deep overhanging canopy, which can be used as an exhibition area or as shelter during loading and unloading operations.

The canopies are equipped with the necessary infrastructure for exhibition activities: electrical panels on the walls and floor manholes.

Outdoor Areas

More than half of the area occupied by ModenaFiere consists of large squares for open-air exhibition, served by a rational modular distribution system for various services.
The different sizes allow for the creation of the most diverse layouts related to the different product categories exhibited. Large equipment and machinery for the construction, agriculture, and commercial transport sectors, as well as furniture for parks and gardens and outdoor living tools in general, find their ideal location in these spaces.
The flooring of these areas is made of bituminous conglomerate. General lighting is provided by light towers.

Conference Rooms

ModenaFiere is not only an important exhibition hub but also the right location to host a wide variety of events. ModenaFiere is currently the largest congress center in the entire Modena area, thanks also to a range of ancillary services. The spaces, due to their flexibility and modularity, are suitable for meeting all different exhibition and congress needs: corporate meetings, exhibition-conferences, open houses, workshops, parties, dinners, competitions, etc. The independence of the various halls, the location, and the number of various entrances allow for the realization of even simultaneous events without interference.

  • On the first floor, a 360-seat room is available, permanently equipped with an amplification system with 16 broadcast points, 2 video/data projectors, 2 motorized wall screens, and a mobile camera.

  • Other rooms and small meeting rooms with variable capacities from 20 to 100 people complete the facilities.

  • Through a modular setup within Hall “C”, it is possible to host events from 150 – 300 – 850 seats up to a maximum of 1,200.

  • Large, suitably equipped spaces can host events for several thousand people.
