EXHIBITION AREA

Gallery

The backbone of ModenaFiere is the gallery, an impressive architectural structure connecting the 3 Exhibition Halls.
The ground floor of the gallery houses numerous service counters, an information point, an ATM cash point, medical assistance station, restrooms, and children’s play area.

The first floor is given over to the venue’s management head office, secretariat, security, and allied services.
This floor also houses meeting rooms, service provider offices, and terraced areas.

Indoor Areas

The three Exhibition Halls – each a different size in order to meet the most varied needs – cover an exhibition area of approximately 18,000 m2. The two larger Halls (A and B) are parallel to each other and connected by the central gallery. Located at the East entrance, the third, smaller Hall (C), is perpendicular to the first two.
The large space seamlessly connecting Hall “A” and Hall “C” can either service as an atrium, or if required, an exhibition area.
Each hall has dedicated vehicle and personnel access points allowing the movement of goods and people. A series of under-floor ducts deliver utilities to the stands: electricity, power, telephone lines, and water system. A separate electrical distribution network with outlets fixed to the central columns or walls is activated for setup work.

The halls benefit from an effective ceiling-mounted climate control system capable of ensuring a comfortable working environment in every season. Natural light enters through windows in the roof, while neon fixtures provide artificial lighting. The 80 x 70 cm structural pillars in the halls are positioned 20m apart. Each Hall has a catering area and restroom block.

The Canopies

The roof of each hall has a 5m deep overhang, or canopy, that can be used as an exhibition area or shelter during loading and unloading operations.

The canopies are equipped with the necessary infrastructure for exhibition activities: electrical panels on the walls and sunken junction boxes.

Outdoor Areas

More than half the area occupied by ModenaFiere consists of large open-air exhibition areas. Equipped with a series of rationally distributed, modular services, these spaces can be used for open-air exhibitions.
The different sizes of the exterior spaces meet the many different exhibitor layout demands for a range of product categories: large equipment and machinery for the construction, agriculture, and commercial transport sectors, but also garden and park furniture, and outdoor living tools.
All outdoor areas are paved with bituminous conglomerate. General lighting is provided by spotlight towers.

Conference Rooms

Not only an important exhibition centre, ModenaFiere is also the ideal location for a wide variety of events. ModenaFiere is currently the largest congress centre in the entire Modena area, thanks also to its broad range of allied services. Its flexible, modular spaces can meet all exhibition and congress requirements, from corporate meetings, exhibition-conferences, and open houses to workshops, parties, dinners, and competitions, etc. The Exhibition Halls can each form a unit unto itself. This, together with the various entrances into the trade-show ground, allow the venue to host more than one event at the same time without risk of interference.

  • The first floor has a 360-seat meeting room with a 16-point amplification system, 2 video/data projectors, 2 motorized wall screens, and a mobile camera.
  • Other smaller environments and meeting rooms with capacities varying from 20 to 100 complete the venue’s offering.
  •  Hall “C”’s modular configuration allows it to host events for 150, 300, 850 and even 1,200.
  • When suitably configured, the venues large spaces can host events for several thousand people.
